CHANGING THE FACE OF SPACE TRAVEL

In 2025, you can join Spaceship Neptune on an environmentally-friendly spaceship balloon flight and gain a whole new perspective of Mother Earth.

Departing from a launch pad at Kennedy Space Center, this is a 6 hour, zero-emissions voyage with 2 hours spent at 100,000 feet above Earth. An exhilarating yet gentle and luxurious journey to space.

Ascend while the sky is dark with stars. Glide along as the sun slowly rises in a black sky. After sunrise, experience the life- transforming view of Earth in space. Spaceship Neptune then gently descends to softly splash down in the ocean where you’ll be met by our team. Details of where you splashdown and the full hospitality experience around that aspect of the journey will be announced shortly.

For dates and further details – don’t hesitate to get in touch.

SPACESHIP NEPTUNE

This advanced Space Balloon is designed to operate in space. The size of a football stadium, the Space Balloon gently flies the capsule for ascent and descent. It is proven technology that NASA and government agencies around the world have used for decades for flying large research telescopes and other scientific instruments. As far back as the 1930s, the first person to see the curvature of earth did so from beneath a Space Balloon like Spaceship Neptune’s.

The pressurised capsule includes:

  • Nine reclining, plush seats, for eight Space Explorers and a pilot

  • 360-degree panoramic windows, with UV protection

  • A refreshment bar

  • Wi-Fi connection, with specialty communications devices to enable live streaming of events

  • Non-glare windows for excellent photography from inside the capsule

  • Lavatory below the main deck in the center of the capsule.

There will be a pilot in the capsule in addition to a co-pilot on the ground. The spacecraft can therefore be completely controlled from Mission Control.

CARBON CREDENTIALS

Spaceship Neptune is a near emissions-free vehicle, and the entire enterprise operates as a carbon neutral company. All swag and materials used in the interior of the capsule are also sustainably sourced.

The founders of this astounding enterprise have a personal connection to sustainability. Time spent in Biosphere 2 gave them a perspective of our planet that is akin to astronauts who connect so deeply with our singular human family on Spaceship Earth. They have worked with the UN and World Bank on developing the world’s first calculations of carbon sequestration by mangroves.

No rockets, no G-force, no pollution. A spaceflight that puts Earth first.

“The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of star-stuff.”

— Carl Sagan, Cosmos
